In science, we began our study of earth materials. We rubbed rocks together, put them in water and sorted them to discover their properties.
We are doing a math activity called Counting Bags. We discovered that putting the objects in groups of ten made it easier to count them accurately.
After reading Eve Bunting's book, Night Tree, we decorated our own tree with food for the animals. First, we made strings of cereal. Then we took all the food we brought from home and went out on Clark's field to find the perfect tree. When we were done we had time for some sliding fun! We hope the animals and birds enjoyed their Christmas feast.
