Don't Use Google, Use Boolify PDF Print E-mail

You all know how to Google, but did you know that Google doesn't always give you the information you're looking for? Google "ranks" the websites searched, and oftentimes website designers can put in a special code within their website to improve their "rank" on Google.

That means if you're trying to search for information about how landforms changed your South American country on Google, you might see the first 10 results are ads for travel agencies, vacation resorts, or other tourist information that has nothing to do with landforms.

Instead of Google, use Boolify. Boolify is a search engine like Google except it uses boolean words (and, or, not, for, etc) to help filter out all the 'junk' that Google comes up with.

Here's how it works:

Step 1: Look at the puzzle pieces on the left hand side. They are color-coded and have different words on them.

Step 2: Click on the green puzzle piece (the one that says WORD), drag it to the center

Step 3: Drop it into the center and another small box will appear asking for the Keyword or Phrase.

Type in: history of [your South American Country]

Replace [your South American Country] with the country you are looking for information for.

Step 4: Click the Add Button.

Then, scroll down to see your search results!

First Quarter Breakfast PDF Print E-mail

Earlier this quarter, we gathered all the ingredients to make a fantastic breakfast!  Working as a team, we doled out all the responsibilites and set to cooking.  Once the steaming egg and bacon burritos were assembed and the juice glasses were filled, we sat down together to enjoy the fruits of our labor.  The results?  Delicious!  We have discovered that many of us are "foodies" and that food is something that brings people together.
