 An Integrated Arts and Science Unit Powerpoint
For the past year, Karen Gaudette and Jim McCracken in partnership with the fifth grade teachers have been working on a new integrated stream ecosystem unit. With the assistance from the Upper Valley Linkages for Environmental Literacy professional development grant, funded by the Wellborn Ecology Fund, we have brought in a content specialist Susan Sawyer, a Vermont illustrator and Naturalist, bought additional science equipment and built permanent display cases for the students’ art.
