For the 4th to 6th grade students of our school a new list of 30 books is available each school year to provide good reading for 4th -8th grade students of Vermont. Each student that reads 5 or more of the list will qualify to vote for the best book in April. Along with reading the students have to review the book in some way. Sharing the reading experience is helpful to encourage other readings. More and more students are getting involved in this process. As Librarian of Bradford Elementary School I seek to share my love of reading and encourage students to read and share their reading experiences. Each year the Red Clover and Dorothy Canfield Fisher Books are promoted and used as tools to learn about genres, authors and literary appreciation. Parents and community are welcome to browse and choose reading materials in our school library. Join the children and staff in benefiting from our collection of resources.
